The consultants and staff have been very professional form the initial consultation process to the final surgery procedure and the follow up consultations and physiotherapy. The facilities on site at the clinic in Bromsgrove are exceptional and the support staff are excellent. I must commend my consultant Mr. Moholkar for his expert knowledge and the Total Knee Replacement which he carried out was magnificent and his attention post operation was excellent. I have found that the staff at DKC always have time to answer any issues and concerns that I have needed to be catered for. For anyone who has any problems with their knee or leg joint problems then I cannot recommend the Droitwich Knee Clinic more highly. David Wilkinson. ~ David W
I have only good comments to report on Droitwich knee clinic. I had my surgery in November 2023 and now in December 2024 I can honestly say it is successful. My surgery went as planned. My recovery was long due to my physique, as I have been athletic all my life, now 73 years old, and I had a very tight knee joint, so reconstructing all the muscles ligaments etc made it a painful experience for sure. BUT...now, after a year of diligently exercising, walking, although sometimes too much, I have reached my optimum use which is simply fabulous. We know it will never be quite the same, but a wonderful reason to go forth and enjoy life without pain. Droitwich knee clinic has been very professional, friendly and Mr. Moholkar and his staff just the right people to deal with and would certainly recommend them to others So a big thank you all round. ~ Vanessa S
My knee problems started a few years ago, so I have been into the clinic many times in those years, culminating in a recent total knee replacement about 2 months ago. From a service perspective, it is so convenient and efficient to have all aspects of treatment from scans, to consultations to physio all under the one roof. Possibly one of the biggest factors in any recovery is the people who help you along the way. That can be the difference between a difficult experience and a great one. Each person I’ve dealt with has been kind, compassionate, listened to me and tailored all aspects of my care to meet my needs and situation. I’ve been kept fully informed every step of the way too, so I’ve never been unsure of “what happens next”. I cannot recommend the clinic more highly. 5 stars is simply not enough. Thank you EVERYONE at DKC aka BPC. P.S. loved the hot chocolate too. ~ Carri H
My partner Carl Knight had a full knee replacement surgery 6 weeks ago. Droitwich Knee Clinic provided superb diagnosis and advice package. He was advised a full knee replacement was recommended. Operation was carried out at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. The care he received was second to none. He was kept informed at all times. Mr Moholkar was very professional providing excellent replacement and aftercare. Carl would stress that physio is a very important part of recovery. Painkillers really helped in the first few days. He applied ice packs regularly to reduce swelling. One again many thanks to everyon ~ Frances P
The whole experience has been great. From the initial consultations with Mr Moholkar, the operation itself and the aftercare during recovery. The staff at the hospital were professional and caring, providing the necessary care needed in a helpful way. Any queries were answered so I felt reassured. The excellent physio team ensured I was back on my feet very quickly. Mr Moholkar is a fantastic surgeon. My knee is now pain free. I am able to walk wherever I need to. I want to thank you, Mr Moholkar, for making such a difference to my life. Carol Fisher ~ Katie D
Have no responded to this immediately but waited a while to see how I got on. Had ongoing problems wit my shoulder and arm. Problem diagnosed with the aid of X-Ray, RMI. Received excellent treatment and clear concise advice from consultant Mr Moholkar but no false or inflated promises. I was even a warning of regression if treatment proved ineffective in the long term an operation would be required. But following. A course of further treatment with physiotherapist Mr Hassan it has me going from strength to strength. I am a fitness nut but I am also 77! ~ James P
This was the first time I have needed to use private medical services. I was very impressed with the speed of my first appointment, within a couple of days I was back for X ray and MRI scan and I was immediately told what the diagnosis was and given a plan for daily treatment, exercise, and use of crutches. Being told quickly what the damage was and how to manage the problem really focussed my mind and in a couple of weeks all pain and swelling had gone and I was able to walk normally. The speed of service was the key to a speedy recovery. ~ Cliff R
I had my first steroid injection in my right knee on 18/8/25, following the injection I have been pain free in that knee. As a result of the injection I was able to walk 5 miles without any discomfort, I would not have been able to do this prior to the injection. Due to the total success of this injection I had a steroid injection in my left knee on 6/10/25, and so far the same result. No pain. I would highly recommend seeing Mr Moholkar. ~ Bob m
Extremely happy with the care received before, during and post operation of my full knee replacement at the Droitwich Spa Hospital. Everything was fully explained to me by my Consultant Mr Moholkar, the Anesthetist and care team. Follow up care by the physiotherapist has been easily followed by both on house appointments and printed information to continue at home. Improvements continue every day. ~ Lynda H
Droitwich knee clinic has been fantastic - all the staff are really helpful and welcoming and it was very easy to get an appointment. What I particularly love is that all the treatment is under one roof from MRI, to consultant to physiotherapy- and they all talk to each other so your care is joined up (a rare thing these days!). ~ Chloe B
Very happy with the outcome of my knee surgery. The surgeon has been clear about what to expect, and what I had to do in order to get the best result during my recovery and rehabilitation. The improvement to my quality of life has been dramatic. I'm very grateful. ~ Robin W
I have been highly satisfied with diagnosis and treatments over many years. Good to enjoy the benefits of easily available advice at a centre so close to home, from a consultant so experienced and approachable. All options are explained clearly and patients views taken into account. ~ Valerie P

All good. Two new knees - 2 & 3 years ago. I now walk about 3.5 miles easily every day. UPDATE: Never realised that the review which was requested by DKC would be broadcast across Google. Never again. ~ Stephen G
Shoulder surgery at BMI Droitwich, great result and comprehensive follow up. All completed safely and securely during the pandemic. One very happy swimmer back doing what she loves in the pool painfree. ~ Linda M
My second visit for knee replacement and what an experience to be in a place where everyone cares for you and looks after all your needs, nothing is to much trouble to the staff there . ~ Mark H
Having had previous consultations and subsequent arthroscopies on my right knee with Mr Moholkar, last of which was 2015 with the knee behaving very well since, when my left knee started to cause me grief I booked myself in for a consultation with Mr M, hoping that he could do the same repair job on my left knee. Unfortunately I had left it too late in terms of damage to the joint for repair - I was offered the options available to me however it was obvious that replacement was realistically the only option, As always the procedure and possible outcomes, positive and negative, were explained to me in direct terms. A motorcycle accident scar over the knee to the outside of the calf from 1982 presented a serious challenge to the success of the operation in terms of blood flow to the affected skin so a plastic surgeon, Mr Chester, was called on to advise. They agreed on the best route for the new scar, operation carried out and the scar checked the day after the surgery - all good! Well down the road to recovery thanks to pain relief, physio exercises and general walking (20000 steps a day). Fantastic experience all round from first consultation to rehab sign off, from DKC to BMI Droitwich. Learning points: Listen to the man giving you advice - he wants the best outcome for you - not his bank balance! Do the hard yards and you will get the benefit. ~ Pat G
I had knee problems for years. I was seen by Mr Moholkar and his team. I had surgery which has now fixed this problem. I am so grateful. Thank you ~ Zulfikar A
Good seevice. Exceptionally helpful receptionist. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate was offered while you wait for your appointment. ~ Jill K
Had a knee brace now for 3 1/2 years, great solution for my arthritic knee. Has enabled me to keep up my passion for walking ~ Mary W

I am now nearly 6 weeks post op after having a total knee replacement on my right knee . I had my operation at the Royal Orthopaedic hospital in Birmingham . Debbie kept me informed from the booking and I had appointments to see Lesley and Mr Moholkar booked in advance for post op reviews and physio. Mr Moholkar was happy to answer any questions I had prior and post operation, I was especially anxious about a spinal block as my previous knee surgeries were done under general anaesthetic. I wouldn’t worry if I need the other knee done as I had sedation and was unaware until almost the end of the procedure of what was going on. The hospital care was excellent and Mr Moholkar came to see me early evening after the operation and before I was discharged. It is important to take the painkillers as advised and to ice the knee so that you can do the exercises as soon as possible to get the swelling down and to keep moving a little more each day. The care from Mr Moholkar and Lesley is excellent and it is reassuring that you are seen regularly post op so you can as questions and to check everything is going as well as can be expected. I am now taking paracetamol if needed for the discomfort but have been off the stronger painkillers for a couple of weeks. I cannot rate the Bromsgrove Private Clinic highly enough. I have been going to the Knee clinic since they were based in Droitwich for many years and have always received the same excellent experience. ~ Shirley F
